Lyb Makin lives and works on Yuin Country, on the traditional lands of the Djiringanj people.
Lyb has completed a BA/LLB (Hons) at Macquarie University, Grad Dip Legal Practice at ANU and Master of Environmental Law and Policy at UNSW. She has experience providing legal and governance support to a range of organisations including community housing providers, local Aboriginal land councils, native title bodies corporate and co-operatives.
Lyb is currently enjoying life out of the city and (on a good day) spends much of her time connecting with community and place. She is happiest when outdoors with her bare feet on the earth, and feels that there is immense value for us all in taking the time to slow down and live simply so that we can listen to, learn from and connect with the more-than-human world.
Lyb is honoured to support the work of the Future Dreaming Australia team in sharing knowledge to build a better future.
